INFORMATION TO THE CANDIDATES

The Data Controllers are Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. and the companies of the Group.
The HR-Human Resources department, as well as the departments directly involved in the selections, which will examine the candidates’ curricula in order to assess their relevance to the ongoing selections, are delegated to manage all the data related to candidates.

 

Categories of data and purposes of the processing

The data provided by candidates during the registration phase on the portal, as well as those contained in their curricula, will be processed for the exclusive purpose of assessing the candidate’s suitability for covering a specific job position.
In compliance with the law and with art. 111-bis (It.) Legislative Decree no. 196/03, as subsequently amended and integrated (Information in case of receipt of curriculum vitae), this processing does not require the consent of the data subject.  

 

Processing methods and security measures

The data provided by the candidates are processed by applying the principles of strict necessity and of purpose. This means that Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. and the Group Companies will exclusively process those data that are strictly necessary in order to achieve the stated purposes.
The processing of data is largely dematerialised but, in some stages, it may require the data to be printed and, therefore, a manual processing method, however managed in compliance with security measures.
The data provided by the candidate are processed in compliance with the provisions of art. 32 of EU Reg. 679/2016.

 

Duration of the retention

Any data provided by the candidates will be stored in the corporate databases for a period of 18 months, a proper time which may allow a new evaluation in the event that new job positions become available.
After 18 months from the application, the curriculum vitae and all the data provided by the candidates will automatically be deleted.

The candidate always has the right to communicate any updates, and/or any lack of interest in being included in the selection lists, to Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A..

Scope of communication and dissemination

Any data provided by the candidates may be disclosed to Public Bodies and Control and Supervisory Authorities, to professionals and consultants collaborating with Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. (such as lawyers, labour consultants, etc.).
In no case will the curricula and the personal data contained therein be disseminated and/or made available to the public.
Data are processed by Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. and by the Group companies within the European Union and, if necessary, in non-EU countries. In this respect, Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. informs you that any communication of your data to non-EU countries (specifically name, surname, office/job and company contact details) may not be subject to the same legal protections guaranteed by the European Union.

 

Exercise of rights guaranteed by the law

The EU Reg. 679/16, in articles from 13 to 22, guarantees several rights, including the right to obtain the correction of any data processed by Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. and, for legitimate reasons, the cancellation of such data or the blockage of their processing.
Candidates may exercise the aforementioned rights by contacting the Internal Data Processor, at the contact details below:
privacy@fiorentini.com.
An identity document must be attached to the request and, in case of exercise through a delegate, also a copy of the identity document of the delegate and the indication as to whether the reply to the request should be sent to the person concerned or to the delegate.
The answer will be communicated to the address (electronic one too) indicated by the person concerned within one month of receiving the request.

It is specified that the email address privacy@fiorentini.com cannot be used to send your curriculum vitae. Any applications sent to this address will not be taken into consideration and will be immediately cancelled.
It is always possible to contact the personal data protection Authority or the Judicial Authority in case of omitted or insufficient answer.
