PROGRAM MANAGER – RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT


IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for PROGRAM MANAGER – RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT to join the Italian World Scleroderma Foundation (IWSF) which has his operational office at UnIRAR  - Unit of Immunology, Rheumatology, Allergy and Rare Diseases.

Main activities:

  • Coordinate the internal project process and the organization and preparation of grant-funded program activities, inclusive of programmatic reports, site visits, data gathering and analysis, evaluation, and reporting;
  • Assist with post-submission requests for clarification, supporting documentation, and compliance documentation;
  • Track grant proposals, and other sponsored projects documentation through relevant processes to ensure deadlines are met;
  • Coordinate with internal and external collaborators and content experts to fulfill project and reporting requirements;
  • Provide the support to the creation and development of national and international educational platforms, helping the Board of Directors to prepare the programmes and prepare the structure of courses, masterclasses, workshops;
  • Support WSF communications team with press and awareness campaigns related to WSF re-search and development activities;
  • Assist with program implementation and other duties as needed.

Who we are looking for:

  • Working knowledge of program administration, program planning and management;
  • Demonstrated skills in project management to include prioritizing assignments, interpretation and application of policies and procedures, problem solving, tracking progress, documentation of findings, report writing, and presentation of outcomes;
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality written output;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding and complex work environment, to carry out assignments in a timely manner, and to adapt to changing situations and priorities;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, diverse, and complex assignments, and provide guidance and direction to junior-level team members, to achieve program goals and objectives;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in Italian and English, orally and in writing, with a diverse population of constituencies in private and public sectors including researchers, high-level external partner organizations, clients, partners, data users, and staff;
  • Use of various software applications, such as spreadsheets, electronic mail, World Wide Web, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or test reports.
