IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a research technician to join the Pathogenesis and therapy of primary immunodeficiencies Unit headed by Prof. Alessandro Aiuti/Prof. Maria Ester Bernardo at San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-TIGET).
Main activities:
The candidate will work under the supervision of a senior post-doc on a project aimed to develop a preclinical protocol of hematopoietic stem cell-gene-therapy approach to treat a group of lysosomal storage diseases.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for highly-motivated and enthusiastic candidate with a strong propensity to team working. The candidate must have experience in cell culture, RNA isolation, RT-qPCR, virus production, cell transduction, western-blot. Additional experience in the manipulation of human hematopoietic stem cells will be considered as a plus. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a challenging environment strongly dedicated to translational medicine.
Both graduate students (with at least 1 year of experience) and laboratory technician are encouraged to apply.
