A Lab technician/Research assistant position is available in Luigi Naldini's Lab at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-Tiget), Milan, Italy.
Located in Milan (Italy), the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-Tiget) was created in 1995 as a joint venture between Ospedale San Raffaele (OSR) and Telethon Foundation with the mission to perform cutting-edge research in gene and cell therapy and to translate its results into therapeutic advances, focusing on genetic diseases. SR-Tiget is fully integrated within OSR and has dedicated infrastructures to support high-quality preclinical studies and proof-of-concept clinical trials.
Main activities:
- efficiently prioritize and execute technical and research biomedical experiments;
- prepare and analyse samples for single cell omics, immunofluorescence and flow cytometry analyses;
- handle tumor mouse models;
- produce and employ gene-based technologies.
Requirements:
- master’s Degree in biology, biotechnology or similar;
- optional: PhD title;
- previous and continuous experience in biomedical/molecular research;
- experience in microscopy, flow cytometry, cell culture, molecular biology and animal handling;
- good communication skills in English.
Work details:
- one-year contract with possibility of renewal. Salary will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
